Five tropical Cocktails to Help You Shelter in Place

The Classic Bahama Muma
*For one drink*
- 2oz coconut rum
- 1 oz gold rum
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 2 oz orange juice
- 1o oz grenadine
In a bar shaker, combine all ingredients with a few ice cubes. Shake until blended, and pour over ice cubes. Garnish with maraschino cherries and pineapple wedges.

Blue Hawaii
*for one drink*
- ¾ oz white rum
- ¾ oz vodka
- ½ oz lemon juice
- ½ oz Blue Curacao
- ¼ oz simple syrup
In a bar shaker, combine all ingredients with a few ice cubes. Shake until blended, and pour over ice cubes. Garnish with cherry and pineapple wedge

Turks & Caicos Rum Punch
*for four drinks*
- 19 oz dark rum
- 18 oz water
- 12 oz Grenadine
- 13 oz simple syrup
- 4 oz lime juice
- 1 oz bitter
- 1 tsp grated nutmeg
Combine all ingredients, refrigerate for 2 hours, and pour over ice cubes and serve. Garnish with cherry

Jeffrey’s Spicy Margarita
- First, Infuse the tequila:
- 1 750 ml bottle of Herradura Silver
- 1 habanero chile
- Cut the habanero halves and push them into the bottle of tequila. Close the lid and leave it for as long as you like.
To make the cocktail: - 2 limes
- 1 teaspoon of agave syrup
- 1 ½ oz of spiced tequila
- 12 oz Grenadine
- ½ oz of Cointreau
- 4 oz lime juice
In a bar shaker, combine all ingredients with a few ice cubes. Shake until blended, then pour over ice cubes.

The Painkiller
This cocktail typically calls for “Navy Strength” rum, which is high-proof and often a blend of rums from multiple Caribbean islands. It was developed when the British Royal Navy patrolled the seas and sailors were allowed a daily rum ration.
Infuse the rum:
- 2 oz rum (navy or dark)
- 4 oz of pineapple juice
- 1 oz cream of coconut
- 1 oz orange juice
- Garnish with nutmeg
